In 2001, after several interesting and cross-industry professional work experiences, Maurizio Pensato founded Pensato+Partners consulting in Munich, Germany.
Since 2006, Pensato+Partners consultants entered Italian renewable energy market with a full dedication on solar project development. Through various shareholdings in Italian project development companies (SPV’s), mainly in Apulia (Italy), Pensato+Partners developed solar power plants (grid) with a total power output of over of over 18.956 kWp.
In June 2010 Pensato+Partners started an exclusive Partnership with Belgium based EPC company “Linea Trovata SunTec NV” for the planning and distribution of solar power systems in South Italy. During the period from June 2010 until October 2011, the team of Pensato+Partners managed the South-Italian subsidiary of LT group and successfully implemented a 1 MWp pv power plant in the Region of North-Apulia in Torremaggiore (FG) and managed several construction sites for third-party EPC customers. In October 2011 the majority shareholder Linea Trovata SunTec nv decided to focus on the Benelux home market and to sell off its Italian activities and shareholdings to the existing management team. Under a form of a Management Buyout (MBO) its managers purchased the company and continue the business.
